We went out for a quick meal at 6pm yesterday and decided to visit Barda, which we had never tried before.

We arrived as the doors were opening and were the only customers there for quite some time. The starter was scallops with black pudding. I did enjoy this but found it slightly over-seasoned with pepper, though the peppercorns were whole and relatively sweet. The main was smoked lamb and confit potato with green beans. All nice on their own, but excellent for taste and texture when combined. Finished with desserts of chocolate fondant and a cheese board. Certainly recommended for a revisit some time.
