Take-away

This is Ewan's favourite Chinese take-away. We have been here several times. They are efficient, fast and friendly and you can pick Edge Magazines in there.

Stopped off here to get fish and chips once on the way back from Broomfield Hospital. Carried the fish and chips home under my seat in my Vespa 125 and they were still warm when I got home 15 minutes later. They were tasty and I think the price was competitive with the others we have been to around town.

Have been to www.robinsonscatering.com, once or twice for Rock and Chips and a picked egg and/gerkin and maybe a can of coke. The service is great and it the food is nice but a bit dearer than the Fish Shop in Writtle, but nearer to us so I guess going here we save on the petrol.

Have enjoyed several portions of cod and chips here. It is always busy every time we go so we usually have to take a deli-counter type ticket once we have placed our order and wait in the queue to be served. But we don't have to wait too long and then we drive all the way home to the other side of Chelmsford and tuck in before the chips go cold.
