Went to see this with my Mum on Wednesday night, tickets were 9 pounds each and spent another 1 on a flyer and 2 on fruit punch. Another triumph for Director Christine Davidson, her assistant Sally Ranson, and her cast of 17, some doubling up to play 2 parts. The costumes and set were out of this world and my Mother, myself and the rest of the audience were all captivated and mesmerised from the 745pm start to the 10pm finish with 15 minute interlude.

Popped into town with Mum last Saturday, who needed to visit the bank for something. The city centre is always very hectic and busy at the weekend with the market or other displays, but this weekend it was the 10th anniversary of the Essex streetdiversions Sept 2012. They had them last year I think. There were people in costumes on stilts, giant inflatable green dragons and people just in costumes, which made me feel less self-conscious in"T the old clothes and trainers I was wearing.

http://www.centralbaptistchelmsford.org/diary/community/oasis-cafe. This is closed in half-term, but because it is staffed by volunteers you can get a cup of tea for 40p, which is a bargain, the Bean in Here Cafe in Havengore, Springfield by comparison gives you a pot of tea (a small pot) for £2.

However if you have forgotten your sandwiches and want somewhere cheap for lunch this is a good place. Also if you are looking for volunteer opportunities then this is a place to enquire.

Have been in here a few times with friends and family, there are two bars, one that has a snooker board and a juke box and the other one, slighly smaller for all the older clientelle who want a bit of piece and quiet whilst drinking their pint. It is nicely decorated and you can get a good glass of J.P Chenot Merlot for a couple of quid. They also have live music and entertainment now and again.

Have drunk in here on several occasions with Ewan. It has a darts board and a sheltered outside smoking bit. It also does food which you can pre-order take home, eat and bring the plates back later. Never tried this. Ewan likes the ale there the best.

They also have live music, quiz nights and other types of entertainment every now and again. They have a darts board and also a juke box.

Have eaten here several times in the past, but it is a bit pricy. Had a fried breakfast here with Ewan's and it is not the same quality as Rose's Cafe (for the same price). This cafe did suffer a fire a few years ago and when it re-opened it opened as it was before the fire. Little changes there. Its the only place in town that does Knickerbocker Glories though, which are a particular indulgence of mine.

This is a Tex Mex Restaurant in the city centre of Chelmsford. It used to be a tumbleweeds and various other names above the door. Have enjoyed tapas a few times here with friends and family and the food has always been reasonably priced.

Have been in here a couple of times for lunch and to get Ewan his sandwiches sometimes. They have different choices of bread and fillings and also think they may deliver for corporate functions.

Have been here a couple of times at lunchtimes and weekends. You could get soup and a roll for £2, but I think its gone up since. There is room to sit inside to or outside by the river if its hot or you want to smoke. I liked chicken tikka sandwiches or piri piri chicken sandwiches, again anything spicy in the hope it boosts the metabolism.

I think they might deliver food as well, but only Monday to Friday.
