Went on a holiday to Marmaris in July 2008 with my sister, staying at the Swans 1 Hotel and flying to Dalaman with a shuttle transfer. Cost of holiday £31.13 (transfer) + £72.63 (a weeks accommodation in a double/twin) + £247 air-ticket.

Had a fantastic time, lovely hot weather (40 degrees), boat trip with swimming off the back, visited turtle beech (sand scorching hot) and enjoyed scuba-diving together and visiting souvenir shops.

Having wanted and nagged husband to visit Scarborough for sometime and finally managing to get the time off work to go we have enjoyed ourselves immensely staying in the Executive Sea View Suite of the www.CrownSpaHotel.com. We enjoyed the lovely fireside bar down stairs, Brandy, dinner in the hotel and complementary use of the Sauna rooms (1 aroma sauna, 1 tropical sauna and 1 standard sauna) Jacuzzi, Gym and Swimming pool and luxury changing rooms, open between 6.30am and 9.30pm.

We picked up a Welcome to Salisbury 2012/13 Tourist Information map from the Tourist Information Centre, Fish Row, Salisbury. Tel: 01722 342860 from the Milford Hall Hotel, the receptionist was very helpful in advising us of places to visit like the market and various clothing shops (there are a lot of good ones like Kew, WhiteStuff, and the Crew Clothing company dotted around, when i say good, selling practical comfortable clothes that look like they will last and at a reasonable price.

We hadn't booked anythiing and were planning to drive back home late at night if nothing was available. But virtually all the hotels and b&bs had vacancies, but as it was nearing 9pm we decided the Milford Hall Hotel we passed which had a large customer car park and a 4 star AA rating advertised on the front was worth a try.

The last time I visited Stonehenge I was about 8, but I had vague memories of it being wet, grey, a stone like visitors' building and my Dad being very impressed with the organisers leaving a bowl of water outside for the dogs. Got our car from Airport Cars to Gatwick 8.30am Saturday, arriving at Gatwick about 10am to check in for a 1pm flight. Once we had shown our tickets and passports and checked in our luggage we then went through airport security. I grabbed more of the little plastic bags than I really needed to put my liquids in my hand luggage in and put nearly everything in one except a small bottle of roll-on deodorant that had 50ml (less than the allowance) printed on the back.
